Hello family!
So not to much has happened this week. But we do have some great things happening this week which I am looking forward to!
This past week, we had the opportunity to listen to Elder Paul Johnson of the 70. He was such an awesome guy. He was very spiritual, and we had a separate leadership meeting, where he personally talked with all of the district leaders and zone leaders. It really was a cool experience.
Then he talked with all of the missionaries in our zones. So it was really cool. He trained us on revelation from prayer and church attendance. It was really funny too. because he did a role play with two Spanish speaking sisters and he played the role of a Norwegian man who traveled to America and only spoke a tiny bit of Spanish. It was funny to watch the sisters try to communicate with him.

Then i had the chance to go on exchanges this last week to animus, new Mexico. That was an interesting experience. It is such a little desolate place but it has a lot of potential for missionary work. It was a fun chance to go and explore the place with elder ricks.
But the best thing that is happening this week is Nikita's Baptism!!! it is set for the 25th and bishop day is going to baptize her. She is so ready and willing to serve the lord. She really is an amazing girl. She is very humble and interested in the church. And she loves the principles and the reality of the plan of salvation. After we taught her the plan of happiness, the next time we saw her she was like "can we learn more about the Plan of salvation." We believe it is because of her Navajo traditions. Some Navajo member here say that the Navajo people have a hard time understanding the concept of Jesus Christ, but when they do, they love it! and that is what we are experiencing here. She has just fallen in love with the reality of Jesus Christ and eternal happiness. IT has been such a blessing being able to work with and teach Nikita.
Well thats all i really have for this week. Thank you so much for all of the love and support you have shown me! I apprecitate it so much. I love you all. Until next week.
Elder Pierce
